This article describes the largest single-cell RNA sequencing analysis of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (pAML) to date, totaling 164 bone marrow biopsies. The study uncovered a novel association of treatment-resistant mast-like malignant cells with poor outcomes in core binding factor mutations containing pediatric AML.
