Akhil Turaga is a third-year Biomedical Engineering Major at Georgia Tech. He is originally from Lilburn, Georgia, and is currently living in Atlanta. He is currently working on a project that involves developing a pattern recognition-based approach to classify cells into cluster types utilizing a Deep Belief Network consisting of stacked Random Boltzmann Machines and a Random Forest Classifier. In his free time, he enjoys dancing, spending time with family, and solving Rubik’s cubes. m
