S Birendra Kumar is a first-year Bioinformatics Master's student at Georgia Tech. His research interests lie in single-cell and spatial biology, with a primary focus on cancer informatics. He aims to deploy machine learning and deep learning techniques to develop advanced models for addressing complex biological challenges within these domains. Currently, he is investigating the systemic effects of GnRHa treatment in prostate cancer patients by leveraging scRNA-seq analysis of PBMCs to uncover potential mechanisms underlying cardiotoxicity associated with the treatment. In his free time, he likes watching and playing cricket.
